She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman James and Florence K. Evans (Bennett); her husband Sammy Pursley; and her siblings, Ronnie Stocking and Helen Tade.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheryl Durham (Gary); and her brother Jim Evans (Wanda). She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
