With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alverta Dishman of Marshfield, Missouri, born in Kellyville, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" and Jessie McNish (Young); her husband James Richard "J. R."; her siblings, William McNish and Betty Jo Lewis; and her siblings-in-law, Sherman Clair, Max Dishman, Chuck Dishman, Warren Morton, Leland Lewis and Peggy Dishman.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Thomas (Mike) of Linn, Rhonda Whitlock (Doug) of Marshfield and Ken Dishman of Bland; her grandchildren, Alyssa Hazel (Matt), Lauren Distler (Kyle), Dylan Whitlock, Deidra Whitlock, Mason Dishman Buschhorn, Blake Thomas (Jennifer) and Preston Thomas; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Lily, Taryn Thomas and Hailey Distler; her siblings, Darrell McNish (Vonna) of Fordland, Mike McNish (Debbie) of Seymour, Wanda Mondy (Bob) of Brookline, Kay Stoll (Sam) of Fordland and Connie Gann (Mark) of Rogersville; and her sisters-in-law, Sandra McNish of Buffalo, Sue Clair of Marshfield and Mary Ann Hill (Wayne) of Marshfield. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Social distancing and facial coverings are required at both services.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to First Baptist Church of Marshfield or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
