In loving memory of Alberta Jones of Marshfield, Missouri, born in Pittsburg, Missouri, who departed this world on November 7, 2024 at the age of 95. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Lipe and Laura Samantha Lipe (Stafford); her husband James Jones; her sons-in-law, John William Brooks and Marshall Andrews; and her siblings, Cleo, Doyle, Byard, Barnad, Howard, Zelma Glenn, Mary Jane Williams and Margorie Chaney.
She is survived by: her children, Myra Kay Andrews, Vickie Brooks, Eva Joiner (Rick) and Jeff Jones. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Day Funeral Home (1075 State Hwy CC, Marshfield, MO 65706). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's or American Cancer Society and left in care of the funeral home.
