He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Betz and Irene Hunt Betz. He is survived by: his wife Betty Hinton Betz; his daughters, Betty Stottlemire (Jeff) and Robin Powell; his grandchildren, Jessica Rutherford (Ray), Gary Dowell, John Pantaleo, Geoffrey Page, Jennifer Farber (Dylan), Shelbi Page, Hunter Powell (Ruth), Haylee Stottlemire, Alexis Stottlemire and Ava Stottlemire; and his siblings, Clara Haskins, June Rice, Wilma Eskridge (Danny) and Bud Betz. He is also survived by several step children and step grandchildren.
