Virginia Ashford Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Ashford of Marshall, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Washington Howery and Anne Catherine Coleman Howery; and her husband Bobby Lee Ashford. She is survived by: her children, Donald Keith VanBuskirk (Nancy) of Marshall, Jill Lynne Ashford of Marshall, Judy Kay Ashford of Slater and Robert Lee Ashford (Mandy) of Marshall; and her grandchildren, Brandy O'Neal (Jason), Amy VanBuskirk, Jessica Allen, Ashely Bezdicek (Marcus), Eric Ridge (Brittany), Kaycie Pease (William), Rebecca Ashford, Katie Ashford and Ginny Ashford. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; as well as other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Marshall (8 N Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1801 S Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340).
Memorials are suggested to the Parkinson's Foundation or First Baptist Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
