He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Franklin Swift and Bonnie Beatrice Warner Swift; his great grandchild Beau Clell Hayob; and his siblings, Willis, Thurman Swift and Gladys Perryman.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lea Templeton; his children, Geila Renard (Ron) of Marshall, Gregory Clell Swift (Deb) of Marshall and Cindy Hayob (Steve) of Marshall; and his siblings, Reba Carter of Marshall and Gaylon Swift of Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.

Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer's Research Foundation or Good Shepherd Hospice.
