He was predeceased by: his son Michael Jay Ryan; and his brothers, Leo C. Ryan and Lawrence S. Ryan. He is survived by: his spouse Phyllis LeCuru; his sons, Thomas Kelly Ryan (Jackie) of McKinney, TX, James William Ryan (Laura) of Marshall and Jeffrey Patrick Ryan (Anne) of Australia; his grandchildren, Candice Marie Mitchell (Caleb) and Brandon Alexander Ryan; his stepdaughters, Jeannie Schroeder (Steve) and Reneé Watson (Johnny Ray); and his great grandchild Arthur Conway Mitchell. He is also survived by two step-grandsons; two step-granddaughters; one step-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
