He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmet Arthur Fairchild and Geraldine Christine Davis Fairchild; and his sister Sheila Lee. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ashford; his children, Michael Fairchild of Hartville, Samantha Ann Fairchild of Mansfield, Ashley Bezdicek of Wilton, IA, Eric Ridge of Killen, AL and Kaycie Pease of Marshall; his brother Stuart Fairchild of Eldon; and his cousin Jimmie Davis of Marshall. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Memorials are suggested to the American Liver Foundation or American Heart Association in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
