Stephen J. Melies Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen J. Melies (Marshall, Missouri), who passed away on April 21, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Melies and Delphine Schlueter Melies; his granddaughter Samantha Renee Hutchins; and his siblings, Bill, Leroy Melies and Bernice Cartee.
He is survived by: his former wife Karen Lorenz; his children, Pamela Hutchins of Blue Springs, Stephen J. Melies, Jr. of Pleasant Hill and Christine Riley of Blue Springs; his grandchildren, Connor Hutchins, Hunter Melies (Kayla), Chase Melies and Samuel Riley; and his siblings, Norbert Melies (Mary) of Slater and Catherine Ann Finley of Liberty. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery or St. Luke's Hospice in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
