She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Virden and Eula Butts Virden; her spouse Thomas "Tom" Martin Jr.; her siblings, Clarence Virden, Ruby Brumble and Daisy Merchant; and her granddaughter Allyson Patton.

She is survived by: her sons, Kevin T. Martin (Lisa) of Marshall and Jeff "Woody" Martin of Marshall; her grandchildren, Ashley Hubbard (Josh), Amber Martin (Dakota), Ariel Martin (Aaron) and Samantha Runser (Grady); and her close friend Danny Walker of Nelson. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
