He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruffus McCraw and Anna May Bailey Carte. He is survived by: his wife Janice Stacey; his son Brian Bench (Julie) of Saline County, MO; his granddaughters, Kelly and Samantha Bench; and his siblings, Louis Fridley (Shirley) of Roseville, OH, Janie Gray Sharon of Walterboro, SC, Curtis Carte of Walterboro and Donald Ray Carte (Alice) of Granville, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Peter Catholic Church in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Marshall.
