He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William Schieszer and Emma Bernice Kent Schieszer; his wife Phyllis Thompson; his daughter Lisa Ann Schieszer; and his sister Virginia Durrett.
He is survived by: his children, Robbie Schieszer (Tracy) of Nicholson, GA, Shelly Nowlin (Dale) of Independence, MO and Teresa Osweiler of Lone Jack, MO; his grandchildren, Taylor Holloman (John), Jackson Schieszer, James Schieszer, Kyle, Seth and Luke Osweiler; and his niece Debra Ann Pinkston.
