He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Hemme and Hulda Pragman Hemme; his former spouse Shirley Breshears; his wife Marsha Zahn Hutcherson; and his sons, Dennis Ray Hemme and Steven Robert Hemme.
He is survived by: his children, Faith Brown (Bobby) of Houstonia, Kathy Johnson (Greg) of Clinton, Mark Hemme (Sherry) of Smithton and Gary Hemme (Melissa) of LaMonte. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
