With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Dewey Simmons Sr. of Marshall, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 26, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dewey Simmons Jr. and Evelyn Lightfoot Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Medcalf; his children, Stacy Turner (Larry) of Malta Bend, Robert Dewey "Robbie" Simmons Jr. (Anissa) of Marshall and Jamie McMellen (Bill) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Kolby Steed Bosley (Jacob), Trever Simmons (Adriana), Chloe McMellen, Emma Harms (Steven), Josh Steed, Milee McMellen, Jaxon Simmons and Baylea McMellen; his great grandchild Kohen Simmons; and his sister Linda Harlow (Mike) of Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Marshall Baptist Temple or Community Cancer Center.
