He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd J. Best and Mary Cromley Best; his wife Judy Houchen; and his children, Lori N. Howard (Robert) of Lake St and Lyle J. Best (Katherine) of Linn. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
