He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie "Dick" Jones and Lois Russell; his stepfather Grant Marti; and his siblings, Phillip Marti, Paul Marti and Marilyn Moen.
He is survived by: his wife Tonya Beal; his children, Matt Marti (Jodie) of Amarillo, TX, Sara Kelliker (Michael) of Raytown, Cassie Sargent (Brandon) of Plattsburg and Dusty Beal (Rose) of Ames, IA; his grandchildren, Riley, Emalee, Richard, Brooklynn, Baylor and Hayden; and his sisters, Cheryl Stussy, Kate Coughlin, Sarah Hovden, Nancy Jensen, Gloria Degenhardt, Helen Fischer and Shelva Kohrs. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Memorials are suggested to the Glioblastoma Foundation in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
