He is survived by: his pet Edna; his nieces, Winnie and Laura Lee Johnson; his father Rodman T. Johnson; his brother Frederick T. Johnson; his daughters, Winifred "Winnie" and Laura Lee Johnson; his cousins, Jane K. Julian and Joshua B. Kay; his aunt Donna B. Kay; and his brother Rodman C. Johnson (Kathryn A. Lumpkin).
