She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse H. Parsons and Charlotte Hudson Parsons; her husband Cloyd E. Sanders; and her children, Robert Edward Sanders, Nancy Gail Sanders Duey, William Richard Sanders and Anne Elizabeth Sanders.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Leslie Anne Sanders Leonhard of Excelsior Springs, MO and Jennifer Louann Sanders Kronewitter of Chicago, IL; and her great grandchildren, Jacob Aaron Leonhard, Cade Andrew Leonhard and Colin Alexander Leonhard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In 2009, she received a Special Honor by Covenant Presbyterian Church in appreciation for her contributions to the life of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
