It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyonel Harlan Charles (Marshall, Missouri), born in New Sharon, Iowa, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyrus Charles and Mabel Irene Gay Charles; his grandson Ryan David Charles; and his brother Robert "Bob" Charles. He is survived by: his wife Marge; his children, Randal Charles (Lisa) and Brenda Perkins (Daryl); his grandchildren, Dawn Heizman, Eric Perkins, Shawn Charles and Cody Perkins; his stepgrandchildren, Jenee Helein, Chris Wallen, Adrienne Burkholder and Brian Perkins; and his siblings, Ganelle Reid (Lee) and Willis Charles (Betsy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
