He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Everett O'Brien and Rilla Brown O'Brien; his wife Linda Brinkman; and his grandson Andrew Todd O'Brien. He is survived by: his sons, Dennis O'Brien of Marshall, Chris O'Brien of Bucklin, Doyle O'Brien of Bucklin and Devon O'Brien of Preston; and his brother Wayne O'Brien of West Memphis, Arkansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Campbell-Lewis Chapel (226 S Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1801 S Odell Ave, Marshall, MO 65340).
