He is survived by: his wife Reba Sue Swift; and his siblings, Karl Carter (Daralene) of Lone Jack, Nellie Carolyn Rapp (Paul) of Slater, Joseph Carter of Marshall and Gladyce Honsinger of Lee's Summit. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
