She was predeceased by: her parents, James W. Garrard and Ruby Akers Garrard; her spouse Francis "Leonard" Lewis; her brother James Walton Garrard IV; and her aunt Melba "Nanta" Akers.
She is survived by: her children, J. Kenneth Lewis (Jane) of Marshall, James L. Lewis (Kerry) of Lebanon, MO, David C. Lewis of Columbia, MO, Katherine J. Bell (Lynn) of Camdenton, MO., Sarah F. Lathrop (Jack) of Nevada, MO. and Mary Ann Todd of Chicago, IL.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Marshall Philharmonic Orchestra.
