John William Anson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2023, at the age of 73, John William Anson of Marshall, Missouri, born in Trenton, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Mode Anson Sr. and Eleanor Jean Hetzer Anson; his brother Edward Mode Anson Jr.; and his nephew Kevin Michael Reilly. He is survived by: his close friend Carol Harper; his children, Mary Jean Anson-Molina and Mark Joseph Anson; his grandsons, Liam and Logan; his sisters, Rebecca Anson Reilly (Mike) of Overland Park, KS and Pam Norton (Paul) of London, England; his aunts, Judy Frerking (Gerry) of Marshall, Elaine Smith of Aurora, CO and Mona Humphrey of Bozeman, MT; and also, Michael (Christy), Marty (Holly) and Stephen Doogs (Sandra). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

At John's request no services will be held and memorials are suggested to the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theater in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
