She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul W. Cronkhite and Helen Kramer Cronkhite; her husband James B. Carter; and her brother Paul Cronkhite. She is survived by: her son Mark Humphreys (Carol) of Sterling, IL; her grandchildren, Rachel Humphreys and Lauren Humphreys; her daughter Diana McCartney of Marshall; her granddaughter Grace Durham (Justin); her great grandchildren, Melanie Durham and Addie Durham; her stepson Mike Carter (Suetta); and her daughters, Sharon Meyer (Johnny), Karen Brockman (Wes) and Vicki Hardy (Charles). She is also survived by four children, 10 grand-children and one great-grandchild.
Memorials are suggested to the Saline Animal League in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
