It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Arthur Brown of Marshall, Missouri, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond D. Brown and Mary Elizabeth Howerton Brown; his wife Carroll Pendergraft; his son Russell Lee "Rusty" Brown; and his brother Jerry Brown.
He is survived by: his son Randell Len Brown of Marshall; his grandsons, Joshua Len Brown (Stephanie Noel Brown) of Marshall and Aaron Petty of Marshall; his great grandchild Liliana Noel Brown; and his sisters, Raye Beth Rogers (Lester) of Wann, OK and Judith Ann Jordan (John) of Nowata, OK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
