She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Glenn Newton and Ella Rosina Klein Newton; her husband Henry E. "Hank" Brandt; and her brother Colonel Newton. She is survived by: her children, Michael Brandt of Marshall, Debra Waters (Richard) of Baton Rouge, LA, Robin McDaniel (Joe) of Lee's Summit, Dan Brandt (Cindy) of Marshall and Julie Brandt (Jeff Stockhorst) of Fayette. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; as well as other extended family.
