He was predeceased by: his parents, Hallie O'Dell Sr. and Jewell Elizabeth Garrett O'Dell; his wife Mabel Priesmeyer; his daughter-in-law Kay O'Dell; and his siblings, Roger, Darrell, Eugene, Alvin, Ken, Terry of Oscar, L. D. and Donna O'Dell.
He is survived by: his children, Darlene Collins (Larry Crawford), LeRoy O'Dell and Danny Ray O'Dell (Mary); his grandchildren, Chris O'Dell-Richardson (Layne), Scott O'Dell, Julie Bruce (Jeremy) and Bryan Collins; his great grandchildren, Jadynn, Fynnlea, Parker and Harlynn Bruce; his siblings, Joyce Asbury (Roy) and Gale O'Dell (Joan); and his sisters-in-law, JoAnn O'Dell, Wilma O'Dell and Margie O'Dell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
