He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Miller and Bessie Parrack Miller; his wife Kathryn Laxson; his son Larry Miller; his daughter-in-law Brenda Miller; and his siblings, Phyllis Blankenship, Doris Thomas, Patty Ballenger, Betty Curtis, Janice Dingly, Joyce Sherwood-Gorusch and Col. Carl Miller.
He is survived by: his son Gerald Lee "Jerry" Miller Jr. of Marshall; and his grandson Brian Miller of Columbia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
