It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Robert Butcher of Marshall, Missouri, born in Boonville, Missouri, who passed away on March 23, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Tillman Butcher and Josephine Peuster Eilers. He is survived by: his wife Doris Ann Hemeyer of Nelson; his children, Deborah Storey (Bruce) of Eldridge, IA and Robert Butcher (Carmen) of Kansas City, MO; his grandchildren, Adam Butcher, Melissa Storey and Claire Butcher; and his siblings, Glenn Eilers (Barb), Kenneth Butcher and Mary Ann Butcher.
