He is survived by: his wife Rosario Villacorta Martinez; and his children, Silvia Benavides, Roberto Martinez, Mauricio Martinez, Francisco Martinez Merino and Elsa Yolanda Villatoro. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister; as well as several nieces and nephews.
