She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvis Welch and Connie Reeves Welch; her husband Charley Junior "C. J."; her siblings, Violet Fitchem, Lora Mae Beeler and Marvin Welch; and her grandson-in-law Joshua Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Darrell Gerlt and Lana Shively (Billy) of Marshall; her grandchildren, Rita Shaw (Adam), Michael Shively, Brenda Koob (James), Kristen Hayes (Chay), Amanda Smith and Darrell Joseph Gerlt; her great grandchildren, Charli Gerlt, Mattalie, Telynn Shaw, James Tyler, Brielle Koob, Lane and Bennett Smith; and her sisters, Wanda Flurry of Neelyville, Grace McGuire of Marshall, Shirley Gerlt of Marshall, Emilie Harvey of Slater and Carolyn Pratt of Breckenridge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
