He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore John Schoonover and Mary Elizabeth Dunakey Schoonover; his grandparents, Marcus Arthur Dunakey and Minnie Pinnell Dunakey; his wife Martha E. Davis; and his sons-in-law, Doug Sumner and Robert Schlomer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Laura Lea Bell (Joe), Katherine Ann Sumner of Sullivan and Kimberly Mae Schlomer of Houstonia. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
