She was predeceased by: her parents, William L. Pieschel and Elizabeth La Plante Pieschel; and her siblings, Bill Pieschel, Gene Pieschel, Walter Pieschel, Jim Pieschel, Gerry Ferguson, Ann Craig and Betty Bieberly.
She is survived by: her children, Steven E. Burks (Gayla) of Sunrise Beach, Keith J. Burks (Maureen) of Marshall and Kathy Ann Young of Marshall; her grandchildren, Kaleb Howard (Lindsey) of Jefferson City, Cody Howard (Heather) of Marshall, Kyran Burks (Amanda) of Jefferson City and Katelyn McDaniel of Jefferson City; and her stepgrandchildren, Shannon Johnson, Shelley White and James White. She is also survived by thirteen step great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Fitzgibbon Hospice, in care of Weiker Funeral home in Slater.
