He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Monroe Walker and Catherine Marie "Kitty" Hillen Walker; and his close friend Shirley J. Martin. He is survived by: his cousins, Gary Walker (Judy) of Nelson, Alan Walker of Sweet Springs and Debbie Goss of Slater; and also, Kristi Ellis (Monte), Brandon Walker (Karen) and Shauna Maschmann (Matt).
