He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy A. Silverthorn and Lillian Pilkington Silverthorn; his wife Jeanne; his son Alan Silverthorn; and his sisters, Eleanor Johnson and Florence Wilson.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Silverthorn of Marshall and Mark Silverthorn of Branson; his grandchildren, Evelena Ruether and Robert Ruether (Pavi); and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Luke Ruether. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
