He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Ronni Jean Blackerby; his siblings, Lloyd Blackerby, Elsie Prevo, Velma Skouby, Hazel Blackerby and Doris Jones; and his daughter-in-law Patty Blackerby.
He is survived by: his spouse Ernestine Riddle; his sons, Ronald Blackerby, Randall Blackerby and Sweet Springs; his grandchildren, Diana Gerken (Greg) and Shawn Blackerby (Christy); and his great grandchildren, Michael Gerken, Elizabeth Gerken, Alyssa, Kera and Joseph Blackerby. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
