She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Davis and Alpha Gilliland Davis; her daughter Gayle Charles; her granddaughters, Cathy and Ashley Davis; and her brothers, Herschel and John Davis.

She is survived by: her husband Vernon D. Maxted; her daughter Kay Davis (Terry Davis) of Butler, MO; and her son-in-law Larry Charles of Marshall. She is also survived by five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
