He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence L. Fowler and Wilma E. Salyer Fowler; his wife Lucille Mawhiney; his stepmother Virginia M. "Jenny" Fowler; and his stepbrother Allen E. "Rocky" Elliott.
He is survived by: his stepsister Sue Knop (Wayne) of Louisburg, KS; and his brothers, Mike Fowler (Tina) of Raymore, MO and Ronn Fowler (Vicky) of Holden, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
