It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil W. Poppinga of Marshall, Missouri, born in Green Ridge, Missouri, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert Ameil Poppinga and Reva Isabelle Weathers Poppinga; his son-in-law Joe Riley; and his brother Bob Poppinga. He is survived by: his wife Evalene Jacobs; his daughter Denne Riley of Marshall; his grandsons, Jeremy Ward (Emily) and Joshua Riley (Linsey); and his great grandchildren, Lauren, Brock, Elizabeth, John and Skyler.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Saline Animal League in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
