It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol E. Swigert of Marshall, Missouri, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Wood and Juanita Pattison Wood; and her brothers, Richard Wood, Billy Joe Wood and Rex Wood.

She is survived by: her daughters, Shanon Topel of Kirksville and Lisa Miller of Slater; and her brothers, Tom Wood of Boonville, Jack Wood of Higginsville and Curtis Wood of Higginsville. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
