He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard M. Ashford and Elsie L. Dollars Ashford; and his brother Billy Joe Ashford. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Howery; his children, Donald Keith VanBuskirk (Nancy) of Marshall, Jill Lynne Ashford of Marshall, Judy Kay Ashford of Marshall and Robert Lee Ashford (Mandy) of Marshall; his grandchildren, Brandy O'Neal (Jason), Amy VanBuskirk, Jessica Allen, Ashley Bezdicek (Marcus), Eric Ridge (Brittany), Kaycie Pease (William), Rebecca Ashford, Katie Ashford and Ginny Ashford; and his sisters, Betty Bishop of Marshall and Carolyn Borgman of Smithton. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
