Barbara Thiel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Thiel (Marshall, Missouri), who passed away on September 15, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leon Gauldin Jr. and Binaca Myrle Blosser Gauldin; her close friend Dolly Kiser; and her siblings, William Gauldin, Clara Reece and Bobadell Killion.
She is survived by: her husband Donald J. Thiel; her children, Kathy Gauldin of Overland Park, KS, Jo Wilhite (Mike) of Overland Park, KS, Billy Thiel of Marshall and Donnie Thiel (Martene) of Marshall; and her grandchildren, Karey Welch, Matt Gauldin (Erin), Robert Gauldin (Nate), Chris Wilhite (Dana), Lori Albert (Kevin), Stephanie Wilhite, Jennifer Brown (Bob), Michelle Wilhite, Lauren Payne (Nick), Joe Thiel (Tonya), Scott Thiel (Courtney), Rhett Davis and Rosalind Knehans (Cole). She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Union Cemetery or the Ronald McDonald House in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home.
