It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Lee Davenport of Marshall, Missouri, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jasper Alspaw and Lola Gertrude Breshears Alspaw; her husband William Henry Davenport; her children, Randall Scott Davenport and Lori Ann Gibson; her grandson Kendall Lewis Jones; her son-in-law Robert Lee Jones Sr.; and her siblings, William Jasper "Junior" Alspaw Jr. and Viola Gertrude Charlton.
She is survived by: her children, Lola Christine Jones of Marshall, Terry Lee Davenport of Marshall, Vickie Lynn Gochenour (Kelly) of Marshall, William Henry Davenport Jr. (Stacey) of Marshall and Roger Allen Davenport (Melody) of Marshall; her son-in-law Timothy Gibson of Marshall; and her brother John David "J. D." Alspaw (Sandra) of Malta Bend. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Roy Blunt Center for Alzheimer's Research.
