She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roekel and Albertha Van Roekel; and her parents-in-law, Peter and Dorothy Swier. She is survived by: her husband Walter; her children, Sonya Stickels (Travis) of Marshall, Seth Swier (Kit) of Omaha, Stacy Verts of Marshall and Shelly Lea (Mason) of Springfield, Missouri.; her grandchildren, Austin, Ethan, Grant, Luke, Noah, Claire, Emmitt, Brady, Elise and Quinn; her brothers, Jim Van Roekel (Karen), Tom Van Roekel (Rhonda) and Larry Van Roekel (Melody); and also Wally Swier. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
