He was predeceased by: his parents, William Malvin and Anna Margurite Icks (Burns); and his siblings, Linda Merchant and Bill Icks. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Evelyn Coulter; his children, Bonnie Detherage (Brad) and Bill Icks (Sheila); his grandchildren, Laine Icks (Heather), Chantel Icks and Brandy Detherage; his great grandchild Lexie Icks of Marionville; and his sister Anna Marie Hitchcock (Harold) of Lawrence. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial donations may be made payable to the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church or the Mt. Olive Cemetery, in care of the funeral home.
