It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ralph Orvil Thornton of Marionville, Missouri, born in Virgil, Kansas, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Thornton and Matie Thornton (Phillips); his wife Marjorie Hair; his child Shirley Washburn of Centerton; and his nephew Larry Thornton (Jane) of Omaha.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church in Republic, Missouri.
