She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas and Cora Della Sparkman (Maples); her husbands, Virgil Hopkins and James Owens; her sons, Jeffrey Hopkins and Steve Hopkins; and her siblings, Geraldine Moody, Janice Pendleton, Leo, James, Billy and Verlin Sparkman.
She is survived by: her children, Brent Hopkins (Debbie), David Hopkins (Sandy), Lesa Dummit (Eric) and Nancy Ghan (Gary); her daughter-in-law Shirley Hopkins of Marionville; and her grandchildren, Beth Huff, Kristin Bright, Leah Boston, Ashtin Vaught, Lindsey Sowell, Tony Hopkins, Greg Hopkins, Josh Hopkins, Cody Dummit, Adam Hopkins, Lathe Hopkins, Wil Ghan and Kolby Ghan. She is also survived by 29 great- grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
