James Smart Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Smart (Marionville, Missouri), who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Smart to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ben Smart and Clara Smart (Barton); his wife Carrell Carver; his children, Belinda Jones (Clyde), Randy Smart (Gayle) and Cathy Joyner (Alan); his grandchildren, Brian James Jones (Andrea), Kevin Jones, Lauren Layman (Nick), Elyse, Nora Kay and Jason Joyner (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Allyssa, Adilee, Avery, Virginia Uphaus (Jordan), Brettly James, Cooper, Nick Smart (Millie), Harper, Troy and Brody James; and his sisters, Ruth Hopkins and Berthena Wimberley. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid, a private service will be held with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church of Marionville.
