He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Craig and Marie Craig (Pitts); and his sons, Randall and Jeffrey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Fields; and his children, Richard Craig of Marceline and Julie Schermaul of St. Louis. He is also survived by six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, a brother and sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
