He was predeceased by: his parents, Sisenando Galvez and Estrella Galvez (Patino). He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Galvez; his daughter Lila Bortnick; his son-in-law Dan Bortnick of Mission Hills; and his grandchildren, Hannah (Jared Shafer), Gaby, Noah and Josh. He is also survived by five brothers and sisters.
